To further OKC Beautiful's mission, the Beautification Committee presents Monthly Beautification Awards to recognize those members of the community who are doing positive things to beautify Oklahoma City. We recognize individuals, businesses and organizations from all areas of the city from April to December. Their beautification projects may be at their home or business and their beautification efforts can be on many levels. Any Oklahoma City resident, as well as members of the Beautification Committee, can make the nominations.  The committee then selects one business and one residence each month as award winners, with the possibility of an honorary award. These winners are supplied with an attractive award sign at their location for the month in which they are selected. Their Council person is notified and winners are photographed with their sign and receive recognition in our quarterly newsletter, on our Web site and on the Oklahoma Horticultural Society Web site. To nominate a residence or business for an award, either mail photos to OKC Beautiful or e-mail them to us.
