The fourth annual Beautification Station...Cruisin' OKC bus tour and luncheon took place on Saturday, August 7th.  This free, guided tour was conducted on an air conditioned, chartered bus.  We drove around OKC and showed 200 attendees multiple volunteer-driven neighborhood revitalization projects.  We left bursting with pride for the citizens of this great city and all that they have accomplished.  There are community landscaping, parks, street lighting and gateway projects all aimed at making OKC a more beautiful place to live.  Following the tour, a free lunch was provided by Chesapeake Energy in one of its new employee restaurants.  During the lunch hour, experts were available to give advice on funding, creating and sustaining your own neighborhood improvement project.  This event was free and open to the public.
